The Festival of American Voices is a year-long series presented by the Spartanburg Philharmonic to coincide with America 250.
In collaboration with the Spartanburg Philharmonic, The Johnson Collection presents six iconic paintings shown in symphony with La Mer, a significant compositional feat in three movements by Claude Debussy (1862 – 1918) and the centerpiece of the Philharmonic’s 2025-26 season premiere.
To close the 25/26 season, John led a community-wide project in Spartanburg, SC entitled “The Moons” to coincide with the opening of a planetarium, which was awarded an NEA grant.
